CONCLUSION
With this analysis we see that ATV comes along with the following:
Cons:
- Limitation in streaming content directly from your computer to ATV without conversion
- Limitation of being locked within the Apple and iTunes world
- ATV remote requiring a Line of Sight to send commands to the ATV device
Pros:
- No physical Hard drive
- Small form factor (size) and relatively light weight
- Full HD (1080p) compatibility
- Ability to use iOS devices as remote
- Bluetooth Connectivity for Apple Wireless Keyboard for data entry
- Ability to send Arabic text using the Remote App
- Ability to stream content from local network media servers
- Eco-System for Airplay from iOS and Non-iOS (Android) smart devices
- Airplay of Apps’ content that are not in ATV operating system
- Ability to Stop & Resume content when multiple ATVs are used in one home
- Parental Control for rated content
